TERMS OF SERVICE FOR FIRSTHIRE

Welcome to FirstHire ("we", "our", or "us"), crafted by The First Labs. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our mobile application FirstHire (the "Application") and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By downloading, accessing, or using FirstHire, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Application.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By creating an account or otherwise using the Application, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

2. USER ACCOUNTS & REGISTRATION

To access certain features of FirstHire (such as bookmarking jobs and personalizing preferences), you may need to register an account via Google Sign-In or email.

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate these Terms.

3. USE OF SERVICES & ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree to use FirstHire solely for legitimate job search, career networking, and referral exploration purposes. You agree NOT to:

  • Use the Application for any unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, or malicious activity.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract the source code of the Application.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Application using automated means without prior written authorization.
  • Transmit viruses, worms, malware, or any code of a destructive nature.
  • Harass, abuse, spam, or send unsolicited commercial communications to recruiters, employees, or other users.
  • Misrepresent your identity, employment history, qualifications, or credentials.

4. JOB LISTINGS & THIRD-PARTY LINKS

  • Job Availability: FirstHire aggregates and indexes job postings from publicly available sources and company career portals. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, validity, or availability of any job listing.
  • External Links & Applications: When you click "Apply Now" or explore connections, you may be redirected to third-party websites or services (e.g., company career sites or professional networks). We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.
  • Hiring Decisions: FirstHire is not an employer, recruiter agency, or hiring authority. We do not guarantee job interviews, offers, referrals, or employment outcomes.

5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

The Application, including its design, branding, logo, UI/UX elements, features, code, and original content, is the exclusive property of The First Labs and FirstHire and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

6. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL FIRSTHIRE, THE FIRST LABS, ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, OR PARTNERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OPPORTUNITIES) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION OR ANY JOB APPLICATION PROCESS.

8. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Application at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that harms FirstHire, its users, or third parties. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

9. CHANGES TO TERMS

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Application following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
